El significado de la <strong>palabra Vipassana<\/strong> es <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">ver las cosas tal como son. <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Se trata de una de las <strong>t\u00e9cnicas de meditaci\u00f3n con m\u00e1s antig\u00fcedad de la India.\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><!--more--><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La t\u00e9cnica de meditaci\u00f3n Vipassana se empez\u00f3 a ense\u00f1ar hace m\u00e1s de 2500 a\u00f1os<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El objetivo principal era convertirla en una <strong>cura universal para problemas universales<\/strong>. Sin embargo, no solo tiene como objetivo curar las enfermedades f\u00edsicas, tambi\u00e9n pretende que el individuo alcance una liberaci\u00f3n total y el despertar pleno.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La meditaci\u00f3n Vipassana no fue desarrollada como t\u00e9cnica por el Buda, pero s\u00ed fue \u00e9l quien le dio popularidad sin estar condicionada a los budistas. La pr\u00e1ctica frecuente de la meditaci\u00f3n Vipassana es capaz de eliminar las tensiones de la vida cotidiana, ayudando a trabajar en la costumbre de reaccionar de forma descontrolada a las situaciones agradables y desagradables.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Existe un estudio llevado a cabo por un grupo de investigadores de la Universidad de Johns Hopkins y publicado en el JAMA Internal Medicine, en el cual se determin\u00f3 que con la pr\u00e1ctica diaria de media hora, se reducen de forma significativa los s\u00edntomas de la ansiedad y depresi\u00f3n. Luego de ocho semanas de pr\u00e1ctica <strong>se elimina casi por completo la ansiedad, la depresi\u00f3n y el dolor.\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El estudio concluy\u00f3 que en cuanto a la depresi\u00f3n y ansiedad, se verific\u00f3 que los efectos de la meditaci\u00f3n Vipassana fueron igual de fuertes y significativos como los conseguidos mediante los medicamentos antidepresivos.
