Aprovechando que tenemos muy cerca el d\u00eda del padre (por cierto, \u00bfsab\u00e9is ya qu\u00e9 v\u00e1is a regalar? Si no, en este enlace<\/a> os dejamos una sugerencia \ud83d\ude09 queremos evocar la figura del padre en la antigua Al \u00c1ndalus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Es conocido que la sociedad andalus\u00ed era eminentemente patriarcal. Esto significaba que el hombre era due\u00f1o y se\u00f1or de su casa: tomaba las decisiones y dirig\u00eda los destinos de cada familia. Asimismo, ten\u00eda la potestad de repartir su herencia entre los hijos m\u00e1s afines (que no siempre lo eran por igual ante el progenitor, siendo frecuente que se premiara a la descendencia procedente de la mujer con la que el padre tuviese una mayor afinidad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En consecuencia, al evocar la figura del padre en Al \u00c1ndalus, debemos referirnos inevitablemente a la existencia de los harenes. Precisamente, las mujeres que conformaban el har\u00e9n eran usuarias frecuentes de los primeros ba\u00f1os \u00e1rabes en las ciudades andalus\u00edes de la Pen\u00ednsula Ib\u00e9rica. Seg\u00fan la ley isl\u00e1mica un musulm\u00e1n pod\u00eda tener hasta cuatro esposas, aunque la realidad es que era frecuente que conviviese con muchas m\u00e1s, siempre que su nivel econ\u00f3mico se lo permitiese, dado que el cabeza de familia era el responsable de mantener a todo el conjunto de personas. Parad\u00f3jicamente, contrariamente a lo que se pueda pensar la poligamia no era algo extendido a toda la poblaci\u00f3n musulmana, principalmente por una cuesti\u00f3n econ\u00f3mica, ya que en las clases m\u00e1s bajas, era muy dif\u00edcil contar con varias mujeres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pero la mujer en Al \u00c1ndalus no siempre fue una figura sometida a las voluntades del var\u00f3n. Existen testimonios que certifican que hubo f\u00e9minas que gozaba de ciertas libertades algo avanzadas con respecto a sociedades contempor\u00e1neas del antiguo Al \u00c1ndalus, sobre todo en el apartado de los estudios y las artes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sea como fuere, la condici\u00f3n patriarcal de Al \u00c1ndalus marc\u00f3 la manera de vivir de una sociedad en la que la influencia del cabeza de familia era determinante en aspectos sociales, culturales y de convivencia.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
